Former Pos Malaysia CEO heads to MCMC

The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has appointed Al-Ishsal Ishak (pictured) as chairman. He was previously group CEO of Pos Malaysia, taking over from Dato’ Mohd Shukrie Mohd Salleh who left to join AirAsia’s new logistics arm, Redbox Logistics.Warga MCMC ingin mengucapkan tahniah dan selamat datang kepada YBrs. Al-Ishsal was also chief digital officer of McCann Ericsson Worldgroup, senior vice president of marketing and product at Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia's group head ancillary income. He also worked at Baraka Telecom and Tune Group.Al-Ishsal started his career with Turnaround Managers before embarking into entrepreneurial endeavours mostly in the digital space from 1994 to 2008. He was on the Board of Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation and a former council member of National Technology Information Council.
