Fonterra shortlists media agencies

Fonterra, the New Zealand-based dairy company has shortlisted media agencies for second round of review.Making the cut are Carat, OMD, Mediabrands, Mediacom and ZenithOptimedia.The media pitch that was called last month aims to select the agency for 10 markets across the region.According to R3 which is handling the pitch, ZenithOptimedia, has been shortlisted only for the Vietnam market.The other markets the pitch covers includes are China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, United Arab Emirates and the Philippines.Previously, OMD handled nine of these markets leaving ZenithOptimedia as the media agency in charge of the Vietnam market.Last month, independent marketing consultancy R3 was appointed to handle the review which will be conducted in three phases.
