Font hires Singapore country manager

Specialist recruiter font has hired industry expert Sandra Christie David as Singapore country manager. David, who has 20 years of industry experience under her belt, will head font’s business growth and development in Singapore, continuing to build font as a recruiter of choice for agencies and actively engaging with industry bodies based locally.“David is an exceptional choice to lead the team in Singapore, with extremely valuable industry and management expertise,” Jacqui Barratt, director of font saod. “Her impressive background covers the entire spectrum of sectors and industries font is specialised in, which further highlights our dedication to providing knowledgeable talent agents who have first-hand experience in the marketing, digital and creative industry.”David joins font from Sedgwick Richardson, where she was most recently senior business development manager, in charge of acquiring new business in the areas of investment branding, performance reporting and digital investor relations communications.Across the course of her career, she has held a number of specialist roles within public relations and advertising agencies, such as Grey Group, Mandate and Saatchi Lab Malaysia, as well as internal marketing communications and business operational roles for companies such as Apple and Wishbone.The addition of David to the font team follows other specialist hires this year to boost the recruiter’s regional capabilities, including industry stalwart Priya Bala as Regional Director, and branding and communications specialist Megan Savory as New Zealand Country Manager.Since its establishment in April 2013, font has expanded to become one of the top talent agencies in the region – the company has grown by close to 50% in revenue and doubled the size of its Asia Pacific teams. font is exploring expansion into new markets in 2015 and focusing on the increasing call from agencies to fill freelance roles in the region.
