Flip has appointed M+C Saatchi Performance as its agency of record (AOR) following a competitive pitch, tasking the agency with supporting product growth and media performance in Indonesia.
The partnership has already expanded beyond its initial scope, with Flip adding its Pinjam fintech product to the agency’s remit within months of onboarding. The expansion increased the overall scope of work by 50%, according to M+C Saatchi Performance.
The appointment adds to the agency’s Indonesian client portfolio, which includes Guardian Indonesia. M+C Saatchi Performance said Flip selected it for its understanding of Southeast Asian markets and the app ecosystem, as well as its ability to balance short-term performance with long-term brand building.

“We were looking for a partner who could deliver on our plans, and M+C Saatchi Performance stood out for their expertise and the way they work alongside us. The results are encouraging. We’re excited about what we can build together,” said Winardi Cristian, VP of marketing at Flip.
Arya Nugraha, country director for Indonesia at M+C Saatchi Performance, said the expanded remit reflected the fintech company’s confidence in the partnership.
“We’re proud to have earned Flip’s trust and delighted to be supporting such an ambitious brand. Fintech moves quickly, and so do we. But what I’m most pleased about is that Flip expanded our remit within the first year. That says everything about the partnership we’re building. We’re looking forward to being part of Flip’s growth story for a long time to come,” he said.
The appointment comes as M+C Saatchi Performance continues to expand its presence in Indonesia. Its Jakarta office now has more than 100 employees. Led by Nugraha, the local team specialises in performance media, measurement and optimisation.
Founded in 2015, Flip began as a free interbank transfer service and has since expanded into a financial platform serving individuals and businesses. Its offerings include bill payments, international remittances and business services through Flip for Business. The company is licensed and supervised by Bank Indonesia.
M+C Saatchi Performance, part of M+C Saatchi Group, operates globally across channels including paid search, paid social, programmatic, commerce media, connected TV and influencer marketing.
