Sino Group is lending its support to young Hong Kong designers with the launch of the "Feel the Motion" programme.

In partnership with eMotionLAB, the six-month programme will offer learning, training and work opportunities for those seeking a career in the design industry, specifically with motion graphics. More than 10 industry experts have signed on to be speakers for two "Master Talks" webinars on 17 and 24 October, sharing insights and knowledge to motivate young minds.

Following the talks, the programme will offer weekly online "Accelerator Workshops" on Saturdays from November to February with theories, practice and hands-on training available to selected participants.

"With the popularisation of social media and smartphones, moving images can be expected to become a big thing in the near future. Demand for motion design from commercial clients is on the rise, but the local industry has yet to receive the resources and attention it deserves," said Mandy Tsang, founder and creative director of eMotionLAB.

We are pleased to be working with Sino Group to provide training and practical opportunities for young people who aspire to embark on a career in motion design and deepen their knowledge of the industry," she added.

"We are confident that ‘Feel the Motion’ will motivate more young talent to join the motion design industry and inject vitality to the community," commented Andrea Leung, general manager of leasing marketing and promotions at Sino Group.
