Local out-of-home media owners Falcon Media and Asiaray have partnered up to offer advertisers an extraordinary proposition of combined large outdoor LED sites and digital displays in MRT stations.

With the aim to give clients more value to their campaigns, the two media companies have collaborated to offer The Island Coverage Package, bundling their advertising inventories to reach out to an audience of more than 600,000 a day.

The Island Coverage package encompasses a total of five large digital outdoor screens at bustling intersections and 43 digital displays in nine train stations, delivering maximum exposure and reinforcing brand recall. With this exclusive package – from 1 December 2021 – advertisers can enjoy 65% savings on the combined advertising sites.

Falcon Media’s massive screens are strategically located within the central area, Chinatown, Bugis, and Rochor, stretching to eastern Singapore, making them impossible to miss. In addition to the high footfalls, Falcon Media’s assets cover public commuters and vehicular traffic with up to 16 million impressions per month.

Asiaray’s assets consists of 43 highly visible digital displays in the stations at the Thomson East Coast Line, with a ridership of 2.1 million monthly. These digital screens are placed at the concourse areas, and at the train platforms from Woodlands North to Caldecott.

Driven by its passion for advertising, Falcon Media envisions huge potential in developing customised digital out-of-home media in Singapore.

Positioning itself as a strategic business partner, it aims to integrate with advertisers’ successful campaigns, and generate awareness, by providing unique and extra-large digital format advertising billboards island-wide ensuring commuters and pedestrians are connected to their advertisers instantaneously.

Falcon Media has significantly grown its portfolio to 12 advertising sites in seven locations in its two years of operation, despite the many challenges of building new inventories during the pandemic.

Breaking away from tradition, Falcon Media dazzled the market with its iconic one-of-a-kind triple Horizon@PPC, a three-panel split-screen, allowing highly creative campaigns to be displayed, adding vibrancy to public spaces.

With a firm mindset of cultivating relationships, building owners and advertising clients, the relatively new player in the market has pushed through the obstacles with its creativity, resourcefulness and determination, delivering exceptional campaigns for companies such as GrabFood, Tourism Thailand, Gojek, Amazon.sg Saxo Capital, Uniqlo, Standard Chartered Bank, and Delonghi.

Asiaray Media Group is an out-of-home media company in Greater China with a strategic focus on mega transport advertising media management, including airport, metro line and high-speed rail line, with more than 360 billboards and building solutions. It is also one of two out-of-home resources companies operating in the metro lines segment in Hong Kong.

In 2019, Asiaray Group was appointed as the advertising non-fare operator for Singapore Thomson-East Coast Line. It is one of the first MRT lines with extensive digital assets within the station, including an 86-inch floor and 55-inch ceiling mount screens.

The group has consistently drawn upon its deep knowledge of, and expertise in, spatial management to deliver integrated and creative out-of-home media resources solutions.

One successful interactive campaign in Hong Kong was the Kung Fu Panda theme game. In co-operation with McDonald’s, Asiaray launched the first large-scale interactive outdoor LED interactive game in Hong Kong, in which pedestrians could play the game on the giant LED with their mobile phone as a gamepad.

In Singapore, some of the interesting campaigns executed for companies on the digital network have included Kaplan, Saxo, Foodpanda, Gojek, Alibaba Cloud, MSF “Break the silence” and HPB “screening for Life”.

Falcon Media general manager Bernice Heng said this collaboration resulted from both companies’ desire to give advertisers the full works, offering a holistic approach, and going beyond what Falcon Media and Asiaray had on hand individually.

Both Shay Chua, Asiaray’s general manager, and herself, saw the synergy and envisioned great potential in working together.

This collaboration between Falcon Media and Asiaray aims to offer a wider audience reach, and greater value to its partners and clients.
