Facebook hires India comms lead

Facebook has appointed a communications lead for its India operations.The social network has appointed BT's head of corporate communications, Carson Dalton (pictured) as its communications lead, based out of New Delhi.Dalton reports to head of communications for Facebook, Asia Pacific, Charlene Chian.Chian confirmed the appointment to Marketing.Dalton was at BT for more than seven years and was based in several of its markets such as London, India and Singapore.The Delhi office is Facebook's second one after it launched its India ops in 2010 with the first office in Hyderabad.
