Global information service Experian has appointed Nick Boyle (pictured) as managing director of Southeast Asia (SEA) and emerging markets. He was previously general manager for sales in Asia Pacific.
Under his leadership, the company will look to growing its customer base in SEA, which is seeing an increase in demand for customer management and acquisition solutions through smart data driven by analytics, a press statement read.
Boyle has over 15 years of experience in software, data and analytics. Within a decade, he has held multiple leadership roles at Experian and managed multiple arms of its APAC business. This includes data quality marketing services.
According to Experian, unprecedented e-commerce growth in SEA has been driving transformation for firms in the region, driven by the widespread adoption of smart phones.
“This situation presents businesses, notably banking and telecommunications firms, with a unique opportunity to reach a new customer segment while enabling financial inclusion; providing financial services to the unbanked,” Boyle said.
