Expedia and AirAsia put out ‘Red Hot’ offers

Online travel company Expedia has tied up with AirAsia to introduce its flights and packages on its Malaysian website.

Expedia and AirAsia have also launched promotional activities pushed through ads across print and the online media including Facebook featuring a ‘Red Hot’ AirAsia flight and accommodation promotion which includes a free night stay for every two nights booked at 49 hotels across the region.

“With this partnership, we are now the only third-party online travel agency in Malaysia offering all AirAsia and AirAsia X flights to over 75 destinations worldwide,” Dan Lynn, CEO of Expedia Asia said.

Expedia was also featured in the recently concluded Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) fair. In a bid to create buzz at the fair, visitors to the Expedia booth were offered a chance to win a holiday package worth over RM$5700.

Visitors who took photos dressed in costumes at a photo booth at the Expedia stand and uploaded it onto Expedia Malaysia’s facebook page stand a chance to win provided the picture garners most ‘likes’ by 3pm on 31 August.
