Executive Networks Media bows out of publishing and event management

Executive Networks Media (ENM) has ceased its publishing and event management business effective December 2017. According to a memo to PR partners seen by Marketing, the ENM will remain operational through its investment in Three R Media, its programmatic media buying, marketing and advertising company.

Marketing understands that Three R Media is a specialist B2B programmatic agency that combines publisher relationships with data partners. IDG and ENM did not respond to Marketing for comment.

In the memo, the company confirmed that it would be returning its publishing licence for CIO Asia and Computerworld Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines back to IDG. This will see these magazine titles staying live and online as IDG-owned publications. The memo added that a new media house will likely acquire the publication licences.

Prior to the shutdown, ENM was a publisher covering and support the information and communications technology industry. It also produced events catered for the communities it represents. It also had a research consultancy arm which was (Executive Networks Research) dedicated to studying technology industry developments as well as technology deployment trends across Asia.

The organisation was led by Mark Robson who has been CEO since 2013. Robson did not respond to Marketing‘s queries.
