Following its extension into the US market last November, independent trading desk The Exchange Lab has decided to step into Singapore. The Exchange Lab's Singapore office will be headed by sales director Chris Packman (pictured) who is relocating from London.
Packman has been with the company since 2011. A spokesperson from the company told Marketing that although the agency offers a different configuration of services and relationships with clients and agencies, competitors in the Singapore market would include the likes of Xaxis, Accuen and AdzCentral.
The Exchange Lab currently runs campaigns for brands such as Subaru and Suzuki.
The company also appointed Phil Guest as vice president of international sales. Operating from London, Guest will be responsible for leading the global growth of the business.
James Aitken, CEO, The Exchange Lab said: “With Guest’s appointment and a new office in Singapore, we are committed to working in partnership with brands and their agencies in the APAC region to share knowledge and deliver results."
Guest joined The Exchange Lab from social data analytics start-up PeerIndex, where he worked with client-direct companies including Ford, Samsung, Diageo and many others. He also served as vice president of global advertising for Finnish social game company Sulake.
Together, Guest and Packman will lead the company’s entry into the region.
