Pizza Hut has named Euro RSCG Hong Kong to handle the creative account for its dine-in business, replacing incumbent agency Ogilvy & Mather.
Under the agreement Euro RSCG will manage the overall brand brand from advertising, POS and creative development for interactive and in-store.
The win solidifies a relationship with Euro which started with projects in 2007, including the "Tomato Mania" campaign.
"Over the past year we have steadily increased our collaboration with Pizza Hut Hong Kong, incrementally doing more work with them project by project," Dennis Wong, group managing director at Euro RSCG Hong Kong & Southern China, said.
"To now win the account as agency of record is an important milestone for us, and I believe our team's passion, contribution and commitment over the past year truly helped solidify this win,"
The announcement also comes as the agency kicks off its last project-based campaign for Pizza Hut - for a limited time festive season offer called the Starzbites pizza.
The creative idea for the campaign - "the most entertaining star" - taps into the star shape of the pizza to underline Pizza Hut's positioning as a total dining experience with a premium touch.
The campaign targets 25-39 year-old professionals, and families with kids. Running across Hong Kong and Macau, it aims to boost traffic during the important festive season through December. The Starzbites campaign follows a pitch against Grey.
