Emirates has appointed Saeed Abdulla Miran as Hong Kong area manager.
In his latest position, he will be responsible for driving growth across Emirates’ operations in Hong Kong as well as supporting the airline’s commercial strategies in the market and navigating the complex challenges posed by the global pandemic. At the same time, he will also be charged with overseeing key stakeholder relations amid a fast-changing travel environment, as well as growing market share for Emirates as an airline of choice for flyers in Hong Kong.
He started his tenure with Emirates in 2013 as commercial support manager in the United Arab Emirates which was followed by a similar posting in Qatar in 2015. Having served as Emirates country manager - Sudan from 2016 until 2018, he most recently served as country manager – Bangladesh from 2018 until 2020, where he led the growth of its operations significantly in response to increasing consumer demand.
