Edelman’s vice chairman Iain Twine exits after 14 years

Edelman’s APACMEA vice chairman, reputation Iain Twine (pictured) will be leaving the agency after 14 years. Twine confirmed his departure to Marketing. In 2013, he took on the role of CEO, Southeast Asia and Australasia, and was based in Singapore.Twine recently launched his own consultancy called Harrup Advisory, operating in Singapore while also looking for clients around the world. In a conversation with Marketing, Twine said he will work as a consultant with Edelman, handling some regional and global clients.“Edelman is one of the finest places to have learnt, grown and contributed to. I am immensely grateful to Richard Edelman and thousands of colleagues around the world for my 14 year innings. Harrup Advisory is my chance to have a go, help some really interesting people, feel and enjoy the ups and downs and ideally keep the lights on at home,” Twine said.As vice chairman, reputation in Edelman, Twine worked with teams in 17 different offices on communications solutions for clients’ business challenges. According to LinkedIn, his client portfolio encompasses government, local heroes, MNCs, startups, and community organisations. He joined Edelman in 2005 as the associate director, corporate UK. He then moved to helm the general manager role covering Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining Edelman, Twine worked with government relations in organisations such as Local Government Association in both Queensland and London. Marketing has reached out to Edelman for comment.Earlier this year, APACMEA vice chairman Rupen Desai also left the agency. Jesse Lin, regional CEO was tasked to work closely with the senior leadership in the interim.
