Ecco shifts account away from UM

Global footwear brand Ecco has appointed OMD as its media buying and planning agency, Marketing understands. The appointment is for the Singapore market.

Currently no time frame has been slated. Marketing understands the account is worth approximately close to a million. Ecco could not be reached at the time of publishing.

The incumbent for the account is UM, who was also vying for the account when a closed door pitch was called earlier last year. The pitch was called only for the Singapore market where the brand has its regional headquarters.

Globally UM still handles the Ecco account.
