Universal Networks International will increase its digital presence in Asia with a new look E! Entertainment Television mobile app to be released this month.The app’s facelift will aid distribution plans for the E! online mobile app to expand to users in Australia, New Zealand, Asia Pacific and Africa.
The app includes an improved interface, operating system upgrades, content hubs and new functions for push notifications and video. Improvements for advertisers have also been included, with static full page ads, video pre-roll, expandable banners, full page interstitials in the photo gallery stream and others.
Meanwhile, E! Online platform has also partnered up with social network Clozette as the exclusive online advertising sales representation. Clozette’s brands and agencies can now expand their digital advertising to include the popular online entertainment platform, for more ways to reach customers.
The partnership targets four international markets: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, working with Clozette’s existing work in Southeast Asia to extend E! Online’s reach and depth in the region.
E! Online has a strong presence in Singapore and Malaysia, with eight and ten million of page views respectively, this year alone. E! Online is Clozette’s second partnership.
