UAE â€“ Dubai-based digital advertising agency Connectiv has partnered with Dubai Duty Free to launch what is being touted as the worldâ€™s largest airport retail digital screen.
Located at Dubai Duty Free’s new Concourse A, which recently opened this month, over 100 screens were installedÂ to develop Connectiv’s digital media marketing offering.
Colm McLoughlin, executive vice chairman of Dubai Duty Free, said the new platform will aim to provide brands a dynamic, engaging and effective platform to drive sales.
“It’s about selling the airtime to the right brands and scheduling content taking into account factors such as promotions and activations, passenger profiles and time-sensitive marketing messages,” he said.
Connectiv’s Stewart Caddick, managing director, and Bernard Menhem, head of sales & marketing, will be involved in developing methodologies and analysis software to help brands better engage consumers through the platform.
