DoubleTree by Hilton is giving its cookie tins a make over by embracing a brand new Malaysian look.

According to the company, the new DoubleTree cookie tin makeover is a tribute to Malaysia's unique eclectic architecture. From beacons of modernisation such as the Petronas Twin Towers, relics from the 20th century British-run colonial era, the iconic 143 feet golden Hindu deity statue, and ancient 7-story Chinese Pagodas, the cookie tin will celebrate Malaysia's architectural splendor together with its signature chocolate chip cookie.

The company said that after localising their campaigns through the pandemic, it realised how well the brands resonate within the market. As such it aims to further achieve brand presence and continue to grow their brand in Malaysia.

The brand added that the Malaysian Landmarks cookie tin is the beginning of a collectible series designed to highlight the country's unique cultural wonders.

In 2021, Hilton launched its campaign titled "Travel The World" for Asia Pacific aims to inspire consumers to explore the wonders of their home countries and discover local alternatives that match the experiences at some of their favourite international destinations.

The campaign was initially made available in Malaysia, Australia, Japan and Thailand, and highlighted the international-inspired travel options accessible from its hotels in the four markets. For instance, Hilton marketed Malaysia's ruins of the Portuguese era in Malacca for locals who wanted to visit Portugal; Sabah as an alternative to the rice terraces and forests of Ubud in Bali; and a day trip to the French village of Colmar Tropicale - just an hour outside of Kuala Lumpur - for local seeking a French cuisine fix.
