DFI Retail Group is celebrating its 140th anniversary by giving customers in Hong Kong the chance to win 1.4 million yuu points every day through its 140th anniversary reward everyday lucky draw.

Founded in Hong Kong in 1886, DFI has served generations of customers through some of the city's most familiar retail brands such as Mannings, 7-Eleven, Wellcome, IKEA, and Starbucks. Through the "DFI 140th anniversary reward everyday lucky draw" campaign, it aims to invite customers to join the celebration and enjoy more rewarding everyday moments.

From 8 am on 18 September until 11:59 pm on 29 October, customers who spend HK$30 or more at participating Mannings, 7-Eleven, Wellcome, Market Place, IKEA and Starbucks stores can enter the lucky draw via the yuu app for the chance to win 1.4 million yuu points, shopping vouchers and product rewards.

Customers can collect up to six lucky draw tokens each day by making qualifying purchases at different stores across the six participating brands. Each token provides another chance to win, turning everyday shopping into more rewarding moments throughout the six-week campaign.

Scott Price, group chief executive, DFI Retail Group, said: “For 140 years, DFI’s retail businesses have been part of the everyday moments that shape life in Hong Kong. This anniversary is a celebration of the customers and communities who have grown with us over generations. We are delighted to thank them by making every visit to our stores more rewarding, with the chance to win big every day.”

Don’t miss: yuu wants to turn your rewards into a personality

DFI Retail Group has been leveraging its yuu loyalty platform to engage customers and build its customer loyalty ecosystem. Recently, yuu has put a more personal face on rewards, using AI to turn members' everyday aspirations, passions and moments into personalised digital identities.

The experience, developed with dentsu Hong Kong, forms the first major activation under yuu’s refreshed brand platform, "Rewards for every yuu", as the loyalty platform looks to shift the conversation around rewards beyond points and transactions.

Called "yuu-moji", the activation invites members to turn aspects of their everyday lives into personalised digital expressions, with AI helping translate their individual interests and aspirations into unique identities.
