Dentsu SG appoints ex-Citibank marketer as SVP

Dentsu Singapore has appointed ex-regional marketing director, Citibank Cecilia Wong as its senior vice president. Wong will report to Rosalynn Tay, chief executive officer, Dentsu Singapore and Dentsu Aegis Network Singapore.“The last twenty two months at Dentsu Singapore have been about demonstrating proof of concept with our clients, and it has been a journey at supersonic speeds,” said Tay. “The next phase focuses on ramping up our talent, and bringing in the best in the business to deliver the most innovative ideas.”Wong brings over twenty years of experience in marketing and advertising to the team at Dentsu Singapore, having worked on both the agency and client businesses in Singapore and Hong Kong. The Singaporean has been based in Singapore since 2003, after spending ten years in Hong Kong. Prior to joining Dentsu Singapore, she was the regional marketing director consumer banking at Citibank for over nine years, based in Singapore.Wong said: “It’s been a great two weeks in the office settling in with the team.
