Dentsu Indonesia has appointed Aloysia Dian Anggraeni (pictured left) as CEO of media service line and Laode Hartanto (pictured right) as its first chief growth officer. Anggraeni's appointment is effective immediately, while Hartanto will commence on 1 April. Both will join dentsu Indonesia's executive team reporting directly to CEO Prakash Kamdar.

The appointments continue dentsu's momentum in the market including Kamdar's appointment as CEO earlier this year, as well as the recent promotions of Wisnu Satya Putra (CEO, creative) and Arshad Rahman (CEO, customer experience management/CXM), and major client wins across sectors including eCommerce, FMCG, and banking.

Dentsu Indonesia's spokesperson told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE that Anggraeni and Hartanto will spend the near term collaborating with their dentsu Indonesia colleagues and meeting existing clients and prospects to activate the potential business from a corporate point of view, especially from the agency's existing portfolio, by cross-selling, service integration that utilises all the units capabilities. From there they will be able to form a strategy and plan to achieve their vision for dentsu Indonesia.

Anggraeni has over 17 years of advertising experience. She started at dentsu as head of global clients in Carat Indonesia before taking on the role of GM of Vizeum Indonesia. Under her leadership, Anggraeni led the merger of Vizeum and Main Media, and eventually served as the MD of Carat and Vizeum Indonesia.

With the collective efforts of its media leadership team, Anggraeni said dentsu's media service line is very well-positioned in the market in terms of growth, performance, and capabilities. "Now, we are ready to push it onwards and upwards even more. I am looking forward to working closely with the board and the entire family to make great strides forward in the coming years," she added.

Meanwhile, Hartanto joins dentsu Indonesia with over 15 years of experience in driving clients’ growth of giant media and tech companies including Gojek, Emtek Group, Facebook, and MNC Group. He was most recently chief revenue officer at GoPlay. In his new role, Hartanto will collaborate across dentsu’s three service lines – creative, media, and CXM to provide further impetus for dentsu’s ongoing growth, with a focus on strengthening the partnership with clients to scale new heights for their business.

Hartanto explained that he is very proud and excited to join the agency as it "completes the missing puzzle of [his] career experience from media, social network, and OTT to finally anchoring in a modern marketing utopia, with the network spans from brands to media, from platform to campaign". "I’m confident to bring new horizon on how an agency can lift brands and continue its successful growth," he said.

Meanwhile, Kamdar said Anggraeni is a strong and proven leader who has continuously brought significant impact to dentsu Indonesia ever since she joined dentsu in 2015. "I also look forward to Hartanto joining us and leveraging his unique perspective and deep expertise in advertising to strengthen our partnership with clients and grow their business to new heights," Kamdar said. Kamdar took over from Maya Watono who left in January to take on a role at Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia for Indonesia’s state-owned enterprises, focusing on the development and promotion of Indonesia’s cultural, tourism, and aviation assets.
