Digital creative agency Toaster has appointed Vinod Savio (pictured) to the newly created role of executive creative director, Singapore, signifying its commitment to the Asia Pacific region and the growing market for Toaster's major client, the Alphabet group.
Based in Singapore, Savio will report to Jake Cooper, global ECD, and lead creative output across Asia Pacific for clients including Google and YouTube. He will work with European clients looking to establish a presence across Asia Pacific, and with growing Asian businesses that require digital creative solutions.
Prior to his latest appointment, Savio was the creative director at DDB Group Singapore/Tribal Worldwide for over eight years. During his time there, he was responsible for clients including Neutrogena, Clean and Clear, Johnson's Baby and Listerine, according to his LinkedIn. Before that, Savio was a copywriter at McCann Worldwide for two years, where he worked on brands such as KFC, Intel and Ferrero. He has also worked at Ogilvy Mumbai, Grey Worldwide Mumbai and J. Walter Thompson Bangalore.
“I’m looking forward to both broadening our European clients’ presence across Asia and serving the roster of burgeoning Asian businesses who require world-leading digital creative solutions," Savio said.
“Vinod has created award-winning and cutting-edge integrated work for some of the biggest brands in Asia. He'll bring even more momentum to Toaster's offering as we expand into this pivotal region, further developing our work with Google, YouTube and other clients," Cooper said.
