DCH Motors launches driving lifestyle platform to foster community interaction
share on
Motor dealer, distributor and motor services provider Dah Chong Hong Motors (DCH Motors) has launched a one-stop digital platform designed to empower local businesses and advance the automotive industry towards a smarter, digitalised, and community-driven future.
The launch comes in response to long-standing challenges faced by Hong Kong car owners, including fragmented services for maintenance, fuel supply, and discounts; limited transparency in pricing and service delivery; complex booking processes; scarce loyalty programmes; and minimal community interaction, according to the release.
Also known as MOTOGO, the new platform aims to resolve these issues with a comprehensive digital solution that spans vehicle upkeep, fuel and charging options, insurance, lifestyle perks, and community features. As a B2B2C platform, it brings together car owners, service providers, and lifestyle merchants through a single application.
Beyond serving drivers, MOTOGO caters to every companion's needs with a curated selection of products, from pet supplies to home goods and artisanal coffee. This one-stop platform, complete with exclusive member benefits, is expanding to include gourmet food, family items, and event ticketing, redefining the journey for everyone.
To continiously engage customers, MOTOGO will roll out a series of innovative features in phases during 2025 and 2026. In the first phase, it will connect with Hong Kong car owner club members, introduce group buying and flash sales, offer points-based rewards, and feature simple gamified interactions, with services extending to the Greater Bay Area.
The second phase will launch community functions, car service bookings and confirmations, and further expand coverage across the Greater Bay Area. In the third phase, MOTOGO will integrate public services and strategic partners’ application programming interfaces (APIs) to provide booking, charging, car rental, and insurance services, comprehensively enhancing the driving and lifestyle experience in the Greater Bay Area.
Meanwhile, MOTOGO has collaborated with ecosystem partners, including maintenance stations, parts providers, and insurance companies, by supporting their digital transformation, improving operational efficiency, and helping them reach new customers. The platform facilitates multi-channel expansion and will further connect to the Greater Bay Area and international markets in the future, creating a seamless cross-border automotive ecosystem.
To celebrate the official launch of the MOTOGO, the first 1,000 users to download and register can enter the invitation code during registration to receive a welcome bonus of 50,000 MOTOS. Additionally, users can earn extra rewards by referring friends and family.
Michelle Chan, general manager of digital platform business at DCH MOTORS, said: “MOTOGO is a key driver of digital transformation in Hong Kong’s automotive industry. By leveraging innovative technology, we connect car owners, merchants, and partners, to deliver a more efficient, secure, and enjoyable automotive experience for drivers in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area. MOTOGO is more than just an app - it’s a bridge that unites the entire automotive ecosystem, paving the way for a shared future with our industry partners.”
