Frequent taxi users have become a target for DBS' personal loans offer, a strategy that aims to target customers during their taxi journeys.
To facilitate the use of mobile, Touchmedia has installed some 2,000 mobile chargers in Hong Kong taxis, sponsored by DBS Bank Hong Kong.
Running for eight weeks, the taxi charger program is one execution to support the campaign for DBS' “Digital Loan Center”.

The chargers are available under Touchmedia screens where passengers can plug in power cables and charge their devices.
"We have gone beyond traditional outdoor advertising and turned 2,000 taxis into mobile loan centres with our first-in-market 'DBS Loans' mobile app," said Rebecca Li, executive director of marketing at DBS.
"You can now re-charge your mobile phones as well as your finances with ease and convenience during the taxi journey."
With an aim to drive DBS Loan Mobile app download, the mobile app could turn the taxi into a mobile loan center by allowing users to get their offer and proceed application there.
Another 800 charges will be installed soon.
