Tech-focused marketing recruitment agency, Cogs, has made a pair of significant changes to its roster by promoting Damien Bell to the role of managing director for Hong Kong and Greater China, and hiring Carrie Ho as the team’s associate director. Bell, who in 2012 launched the agency’s first Asian office, previously served as the company's director of Greater China and Hong Kong. He will oversee the agency’s attempts to grow its capabilities, by greatly expanding Cogs’ Shenzhen research hub and bringing the region’s team up to full proficiency with client requirements. Commenting on the company’s upcoming goals Bell said, “In the past year we’ve witnessed an increasing amount of Chinese companies establishing teams and business outside the country as well as a growing priority in digital transformation domestically. On top of the warm reception and increasing requests from Chinese businesses, expanding the service offering in Shenzhen is the natural next steps for us.” Ho, who previously served 5 years with Page Personnel - where she swiftly rose to the rank of associate director from her starting consultant position - has been given a warm reception by Cogs in respect to her drive. Chris Frost, Cogs co-founder and APAC CEO commented, “Damien has done a stellar job in building a solid business network and team in Hong Kong for the past 6 years. It’s always been our long term plan to enter the Chinese market and our increased investment in China will be up to speed now with Damien at the helm and Carrie focusing on our Hong Kong consulting team.”
