Daikin Airconditioning (Singapore) has launched a campaign for its new Super Multi Series.
Nicknamed the “SUPER 5”, this Super-Multi Series uses a Superhero theme to promote its launch via newsprint and radio in both English and Mandarin.
The campaign runs only in Singapore and until mid-May. Both creative and media duties have been handled by Hakuhodo.
In the print ad, the hero stands in front of the Daikin building with his emblazoned ‘S’ logo that doubles up to look like a Number ‘5’, to reinforce Daikin’s “SUPER 5” product. Radio commercials reinforce the superhero theme as well through music, ending off with a voice-over that says “It’s Super, man!”
The Super theme also extends to the Daikin “SUPER” Dealer shopfront with point-of-purchase material espousing the product attributes and promotion details.
