Cups go missing for Yogen Früz

Malaysia - When Lowe Malaysia was tasked with launching Yogen Früz's new flagship store in Suria KLCC, they went for a simple activation idea that would have people and the media talking about it.It then hit on the idea of using an interactive hoarding around the part-constructed retail concession to create buzz around the product, before the store had officially opened on 28 November. The installation was made of 2,000 paper cups that took the shape of frozen yoghurt in a cup.It also included a message that informed people that the store would only open when all the cups were taken away. Each cup offered a 50% discount on any Yogen Früz flavour, and prompted them to bring the cup back on the day of the opening. The actual launch drew a large crowd who queued up at the store with their empty cups. Each person with a cup was rewarded with the promised 50% discount.Given the success of this launch, Yogen Früz Malaysia is adopting this unique idea as part of their future outlet launches. In October last year, Lowe Malaysia landed the contract with Timeless Commitment for its frozen yoghurt brand following a credentials presentation, tasked with driving its through-the-line communications.
