Footwear company Crocs has appointed Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K) as its official public relations and communications agency for China and Korea, following competitive pitches in both markets.
H+K is tasked with further developing and implementing the brand’s PR strategy for the dynamic marketplaces in China and Korea, and will also run Crocs’ press offices and KOL relations.
The partnership has now commenced in both markets.
Serena Di Sarra, Crocs AMEA’s regional marketing director, said the company is focused on launching a refreshed product lineup with a global “Come as you are” marketing campaign in 2017, thus it is incredibly important for the company to select an agency who are “not just strategically minded, but have the experience to execute in-market with energy and excellence”.
“H+K impressed us in both respects, but importantly they also captured the true spirit of the Crocs brand, which gives us great confidence to be working with them in two of our key Asia growth markets,” Di Sarra said.
