WATCH The most cringe-worthy video to market Singapore with?

This terrible promotional ad from the Singapore Tourism Board has been making its rounds in digital space.

The video was uploaded late last month and after receiving much backlash, has been taken down by the Singapore Tourism Board. Unfortunately, copies of the video live on online. The video “See where the world is heading” was aimed at tourists from The Philippines.

While cringe-worthy throughout, you have to watch it to the end for its truly hair-raising surprise ending:

STB was unable to respond to Marketing’s queries at the time of writing but assured us that JWT (which it appointed earlier last year as its agency of record) was not the agency behind the work.

JWT too confirmed that neither the agency or its digital arm was responsible for the video. More updates from STB will follow.
