Content creators, influencers, and marketing professionals come together to form the Creator and Influencer Council of the Philippines (CICP), an organisation which aims to establish the country’s influencer marketing ecosystem to empower creators, influencers, and brands in meeting their marketing and business objectives. Grounded in its vision to become the most influential gathering of Filipino creators and influencers in the world of marketing, CICP is committed to building an effective and productive ecosystem in which both influencers and brands thrive with best in class executions in marketing and business.“The Creator and Influencer Council of the Philippines was founded on the premise that more companies recognize the impact that content creators and influencers have in building their brands and reaching their customers,” said Jim Guzman, network head of social media at Dentsu Aegis Network and General Manager of D+GILITY.The CICP is focused on three member segments, serving as the council’s primary stakeholders: content creators and influencers, brand and marketing practitioners, and creative, media and digital agencies. For content creators and influencers in the country, CICP aims to inspire, educate, and empower with tools and training that will be helpful in growing their platforms and reaching global recognition.At the same time, brands and agencies that are part of CICP are provided with significant tools and information on influencer marketing, as well as access to the right influencers who will help them achieve their specific marketing and business objectives. “It is my pleasure to lead the organization as we lay the groundwork on setting the gold standard in influencer marketing as we bring together various stakeholders from content creators, influencers, and brand and marketing professionals from companies and agencies, alike,” added Guzman.Members of the Creator and Influencer Council of the Philippines (CICP) will benefit from the knowledge-enriching programs such as content masterclasses, influencer matching, and recognition platforms.
