Courts forays into multi-channel retailing

Courts has launched its new online store today to cater to the growing popularity of online shopping amongst Singaporeans.

A mobile version of the web store will also be ready by 1 November 2012.

The decision comes after the retail brand saw strong online sales growth, earlier this year.

These additions, said the home furnishing company was an effort to become a multi-channel retailer.

The online store offers Courts' lifestyle and home products, ranging from home accessories to home entertainment. To attract customers, it also has a seven day return policy and customers can pay by cash upon delivery or have items delivered for free with SG $200 expenditure.

The site also allows customers to save their purchase histories to do away with receipts, check on the "Lemon Law" protection or amend delivery dates.

Courts CEO, Terry O'Connor, said: "We understand the importance of boosting our online offerings and how this appeals to the web-savvy nature of multi-channel consumers these days, and we have endeavored to provide such a platform that emphasises ease of use and convenience."
