ComfortDelGro gets new wifi capabilities

ComfortDelGro passengers can now access unlimited wifi as its advertising arm, Moove Media pairs up with Network For Electronic Transfers (Singapore).

100 ComfortDelGro taxis will be installed with a palm-sized wifi dongle to provide passengers with wifi access which starts today until the end of January 2017. Instructions for passengers can be found on the headrest of the left front passenger seat. With free wifi, passengers will not incur any mobile data charges while surfing the Internet or checking their apps.

CEO of Moove Media, Jayne Kwek said, “Moove is very excited to partner NETS to provide free wifi on board 100 ComfortDelGro taxis for the first time. This is one of the many ways in which we help our clients enhance their advertising or branding campaigns, so as to make it more interesting for consumers to remember a brand.”

Ang Sok Hong, head of sales and marketing of NETS, said: “NETS has a long term partnership with ComfortDelGro to promote cashless payments in taxis. We are pleased to partner with Moove Media and ComfortDelGro on this campaign to remind commuters on the ease and convenience of making payments with NETS and NETS FlashPay in taxis.”
