Coca-Cola has launched the 2025 season of Coke Studio, the brand’s disruptive global music platform, with a sharpened focus on creativity, experimentation and connection across the ASEAN & South Pacific (ASP) region.

Rolling out in the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, the new season is designed to strike a chord with Gen Z through unexpected collaborations and beats engineered using neuroscience insights. The initiative continues to build on Coca-Cola’s ambition to use music as a universal language to connect with younger audiences.

“Music has the incredible ability to connect people across cultures and generations. With Coke Studio, we’re not just creating tracks - we’re building bridges through unexpected collaborations that celebrate diversity and creativity. This season we aim to push creative boundaries and deliver fresh sounds that truly resonate with Gen Z’s spirit and energy. It’s our most experimental season yet,” Teejae Sonza, Coca-Cola trademark category marketing head for the ASP region, said

Working with Universal Music Group and music tech company Music Health, Coca-Cola has leaned into data science to create what it describes as the perfect uplifting tune. Grammy-nominated producer Styalz Fuego spearheaded the effort, weaving together attributes of hundreds of tracks scientifically proven to enhance mood and brain receptivity.

“With Coke Studio this year, we had an ambitious idea at the heart of composing a song designed to uplift," Brooke Pilton, general manager, partnerships at Universal Music for Brands, said. "Our long-standing global partnership with The Coca-Cola Company continues to be a powerful force in pushing the boundaries of what music and brands can achieve together.”

In the Philippines, Coke Studio marks its ninth season by putting Original Pilipino Music in the spotlight. Girl group BINI paired up with the Orchestra of the Filipino Youth for the upbeat track Oxygen, while other collaborations include ALAMAT with mrld on rock baby, Dionela with Alex Bruce on Fall Season, and Over October with Ena Mori on tulad ng dati.

Meanwhile, in Australia and New Zealand, Coke Studio has united chart-topping acts Peking Duk, Kita Alexander, and Drax Project to create a cross-border anthem expected to dominate playlists.

In Papua New Guinea, the seventh season coincides with the country’s 50th year of independence. Coke Studio PNG released Yumi Celebrate, an anthem of pride and unity featuring artists including Demas Saul, Ragga Siai, Roxsy Rox, and Kali-D, produced by Toxic Mahn.

Beyond the music itself, Coca-Cola plans to roll out dynamic activations across the region. These include pop-up performances, exclusive live streams, and tailored promotions designed to forge deeper artist-fan connections. Exclusive social content with featured artists will also give fans more ways to engage with the brand.
