The Coca-Cola classic contour glass bottles have been with Hongkongers for almost a century. Now, this design will soon be saying goodbye to consumers and the company will roll out a new look next year.

The conventional glass bottles are to be retired in Q2 2021. After the hiatus, the new contour glass bottles will return in 2022 with a new look, incorporating environmentally friendly features and a proportion of recycled glass materials. The bottles will remain recyclable and reusable but be lighter in weight.coca cola rb campaign photos by kelvin yuen 02To celebrate some of the key moments that many Hongkongers have had with the bottles at different stages of their lives, Coca-Cola has invited landscape photographer Kelvin Yuen to create a series of nostalgic photos featuring the Coca-Cola classic contour glass bottles.coca cola rb campaign photos by kelvin yuen 09The glass bottles are less commonly seen across Hong Kong as it is mainly available in local and Chinese restaurants, noodle shops and corner stores. To remind customers of the classic design, Coca-Cola is inviting them to share their memories with the bottle on a dedicated website until 20 April and participants could win a limited edition Coca-Cola classic bottle souvenir.coca cola rb campaign photos by kelvin yuen 15
