Circles.Life has named Brian Finn (pictured) as its new chief business officer. In his role, Finn will lead business strategy formulation, drive operational excellence and advance financial growth for Circles.Life.  Finn comes with over 25 years of experience in the international telecom industry, with the last 17 years in various executive roles. Prior to Circles, he was the group CCO at VEON, a global digital operator that provides mobile services to 217 million customers.

Finn also previously held senior executive roles at Digicel Group, Vodafone, eircom PLC and Hewlett-Packard. In addition, Finn has worked in markets such as Europe to the Caribbean and Latin America.

“I am thrilled to join Circles in the newly created role of chief business officer. The telecom industry is mired in technical debt, with legacy systems driving the need for manual intervention, which leads to an inefficient operating model and a lacklustre customer experience. Circles X, a digital telco SaaS platform enables a new approach from a clean sheet,” said Finn.

Abhishek Gupta, co-founder of Circles explained that his proven experience in driving growth at scale at VEON and Digicel is critical to Circles’ success as it continues to enter new markets and give power back to more and more users. “We are excited to welcome Finn to the Circles team as we expand our business globally,” Gupta said.

In June, Circles.Life appointed Akhil Agarwal to head up digital marketing. Agarwal was last with Orange Business Service for close to 10 years where he held the role of head of demand generation and account-based marketing for over five years.  At Orange Business Service, his responsibilities included developing and executing go-to-market strategies, and marketing plans with broader awareness and demand generation campaigns with specific focus on generating leads. Through his field marketing experience in the ANZ region, he was also in charge of creating awareness and demand-generation campaigns, branding, PR & blogs.

Separately, it made a slew of senior appointments: Lawrence Corbett as COO, Thomas Lee as chief revenue officer, and Saurabh Ohri as VP of sales for B2B SaaS. The appointments follow an accelerated growth in 2021, as it sets sights on expanding into additional global markets including Asia and Europe, while deepening its success in its existing markets.
