
Christian Dior Couture names new regional marketing lead in HK

Christian Dior Couture has appointed Claire Huang as regional marketing director, according to her LinkedIn. Based in Hong Kong, she worked for other luxury brands in the city before. Prior to joining Christian Dior Couture, she was senior manager, client engagement and omni-channel at Chanel from April 2021 to February 2022. She joined the company in April 2020 as senior manager of communications.
She boasts experiences in the retail industry an worked for other luxury brands before. For example, Huang joined travel retailer DFS Group in July 2016 as global digital marketing manager. She remained in this position until December 2018 and she was promoted to senior manager, global digital marketing and CRM in January 2019. After more than a year, she left the position to join Chanel.
In the early stage of her career, Huang worked for Baidu for more than four years where she was consultant of integrated marketing strategy from January 2012 to December 2013. She was elevated to senior consultant, integrated marketing strategy in January 2014 and stayed at the same position until April 2016.
Huang positioned herself as an experienced marketer with a demonstrated history of working in the retail industry. She specialises in digital marketing, digital innovation, eCommerce, social media, performance marketing, marketing strategy, content and creative Management, and CRM.

Currently, Christian Dior is running 12 stores in the city. Located in the business districts in Hong Kong, including three outlets that sell men's fashion and two branches offering kid's clothing.
Founded in 1946 by Christian Dior, the brand is part of the LVMH group as it runs luxury brands across different categories, including fashion and leather goods, watches and jewellery, and cosmetics.
