Chow Sang Sang bolsters localisation with new group head of marketing role

Chow Sang Sang has promoted its regional marketing principle manager Scarlet Ho (pictured) to its new head of group marketing, effective from April 2024. She reports to Cecilia Yim, chief market strategy officer, Chow Sang Sang Holdings International. 

The role has been created for a more thorough leadership within the marketing team, as well as to better implement the group’s planning to localisation for Hong Kong and Macau markets. 

Within this newly created role, Ho will be responsible for orchestrating multiple brands' positioning across Chow Sang Sang Group including Chow Sang Sang Jewellery, Promessa, MintyGreen, amongst others. 

She will also need to initiate and lead strategic marketing planning and project implementation across the greater China region including mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

Ho joined Chow Sang Sang in 2017 as regional marketing manager, where she was responsible for branding, regional marketing, retail branding and strategic communications.  

Prior to Chow Sang Sang, Ho was with Citibank as its country marketing manager, where she was responsible for all-rounded marketing experience including holistic campaign planning; managing campaign execution; launching social media page and maintenance; branding; inter-team coordination and agencies management. 

Ho brings on board some agency experience as well. She had been with Leo Burnett for three years, having helmed various senior roles such as associate brand director.
