Branding and design agency Creative Capital has opened a new office in Jakarta, Indonesia. The office will be led by managing partner Agustinus Michel (pictured left), who will be based in Indonesia, after coming from the main office in China.
According to Louis Houdart (pictured right), Creative Capital founder and CEO, Jakarta was chosen to launch the new office because it was perceived to be a creative, fast-growing market with plenty of opportunities.
Through the launch of the new office, Creative Capital Jakarta aims to help local and international brands tailor their marketing needs for the Indonesia market. This is with a special focus on merging retail and digital in a singular storytelling platform.
The decision to launch in Indonesia also comes on the back of rising Indonesia and Chinese economic relations. Hence, the agency looks to be a branding agency that understands both the connection between retail-digital and the diplomatic power of storytelling in global market-place economies.
Creative Capital opened its first office in 2011 in Shanghai, it later expanded to Shenzhen in 2014 and New York in 2015. Brands the agency has worked with include L’Oreal’s Lancome, P&G, Dom Perignon, Uni-President, JAWHA, Giant, Good Baby, and China underwear brand Aimer.
“Merging retail and digital under one consistent storytelling platform is now the priority for retailers in Indonesia. China has been very innovative on the O2O and we want to be the guys who bridge these two markets via storytelling,” Michel explained.
