Cheil Worldwide has appointed Chul Lim as the new regional digital marketing director in a bid to strengthen its digital marketing offering in the Southeast Asia region.
Based in Singapore, he will take care of five countries – Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines and Thailand.
Lim (pictured) joins from Astra Zeneca where he was digital innovation manager overseeing marketing and practice development across eight Asian countries, especially in the area of mobile marketing. He also led cross-industry partnerships with technical companies such as consumer electronics players and wireless service providers to drive inorganic growth.
Prior to Astra Zeneca, Lim worked at Cheil Worldwide headquarters in South Korea as the global lead of social media centre.
Lim will report to CS Park, Cheil’s president of Southeast Asian regional and his remit is to formulate regional digital strategy, ensuring that it sits at the core of all creative output.
