Cheil Worldwide has set up home in Malaysia, expanding its global reach to 41 offices across 35 countries.
Cheil Malaysia will be a full service agency with over 20 talents to drive creative solutions, working with clients the likes of Samsung, AIG and Hankook Tire. Operations will be headed up by Bong Keun Lee, managing director of Cheil Malaysia.
Lee commented that the agency has made hires in digital, retail and experienced-based marketing.
“All these resources will be able to compliment the traditional agency offering of ATL and BTL, in order to ensure that we provide the integrated creative solutions-based communication that Malaysian marketers are increasingly asking for.”
President and head of Southeast Asia regional headquarter, CS Park said that Malaysia has continued to witness a healthy economic growth, and its advertising market has enjoyed even more robust growth.
The KL launch follows the agency’s recent expansion in Romania and Sweden.
