Chef Nic Family co-launches NFT pop up with creative studio Hungry Sausages Lab

Celebrity Nicholas Tse's lifestyle brand Chef Nic Family has collaborated with creative studio Hungry Sausages Lab and Grand Hyatt Hong Kong to launch a pop-up event, offering visitors NFT workshops and recipes, in addition to an interactive campaign.

In the campaign "CLASH!", the brands encourage visitors to go on a journey in the venue divided into five zones with hidden QR codes. Each zone contains LED screens on pillars, mirrored pillars and walls, and sculptures featuring selected Chef Nic Family and Hungry Sausages special edition NFT artworks. A selfie photo stage is set up to amuse visitors with old TVs, consisting of infinity mirrors area and LED screens with NFT artworks mixing old and new elements.

Guests are invited to navigate the journey by using a space boarding pass to the “Hungry Sausages Galaxy” and QR codes to find their character and unlock their imagination. As a reward, visitors could win HK$1,000 cash coupons if they guess the coupon redemption location correctly.

Moreover, the campaign also allows participants to create NFTs. Visitors can join the NFT workshop to create their own pixelated artworks via an iPad. The artwork could then be minted and converted into an NFT after paying the gas fee. The NFT will then be stored in visitors' crypto wallet as their own collection.

Hungry Sausages Lab said NFT is more than a profile picture, virtual asset, digital tool and an investment. Instead, it is a digital identity certification. It added that passport holders of Hungry Sausages NFT collection will be entitled to profit sharing, exclusive gift redemption, decision marking, and participating special events.

With the first-ever digital x physical pop up, Hungry Sausages passport holders will receive an invitation to Hungry Sausages Party Night, free entrance to the event and be invited to participate in the NFT workshop too. The pop up event will run from 7 May to 26 June.
