CHAGEE adds mango twist to BO·YA tea range in the Philippines

CHAGEE is adding a Filipino favourite to its local menu with the launch of BO·YA Mango Jasmine Green Brewed Tea and Milk Tea, as the tea brand prepares to open its Philippine flagship store and marks its ninth anniversary this November.

The new offering puts mango, the Philippines’ national fruit, at the centre of a flavour pairing with jasmine green tea. Available in both brewed tea and milk tea formats, it gives local consumers another way to enjoy the familiar tropical fruit.

The drink combines the natural sweetness of mango with the floral notes of jasmine green tea. According to CHAGEE, its tea leaves are infused with fresh mango puree before undergoing a fruit-infusion aroma-locking process. The leaves are dried at low temperatures to help preserve the aromas of both tea and fruit, while freeze-dried mango pieces are added to reinforce the flavour.

The resulting drink opens with ripe mango notes, followed by layers of jasmine and a floral-fruity finish, while retaining the character of CHAGEE's BO·YA Jasmine Green tea.

The launch taps into the Philippines' established affinity for mango, which features prominently in local food culture, from fresh fruit and traditional desserts to beverages. By bringing the fruit into a jasmine green tea blend, CHAGEE is giving a familiar local flavour a different format.

Beyond the menu addition, November will also see the brand expand its physical presence in the Philippines with the opening of its flagship store at Bonifacio High Street on 13 November.

Since entering the Philippine market in August 2025, CHAGEE has opened 28 tea houses in Manila. The flagship store is intended to bring together tea, culture and local creativity, with a distinctly Filipino character to its contemporary tea experience.

To mark the opening, CHAGEE is also bringing NAYEON, a member of K-pop girl group TWICE, to Manila for an exclusive meet-and-greet on 14 November.

Fans can enter a raffle for access to the event through qualifying photocard bundle purchases made via the CHAGEE app between 28 October and 11 November 2026. The brand is also running a social media giveaway through a NAYEON Dance Challenge featuring the singer's solo tracks, with participants standing a chance to win VIP tickets.

The flagship opening and fan event form part of a wider series of activities surrounding CHAGEE's ninth anniversary. The brand said additional merchandise and promotions will also roll out throughout November.

Founded in 2017, CHAGEE is an international tea brand focused on bringing traditional tea culture to modern consumers. As of November 2026, it operates more than 7,600 stores worldwide, with a presence across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines and South Korea.
