Certis aims to break stereotypes in its latest recruitment campaign in Singapore, which gives an extra shout-out to female tech talent. Robin Goh, SVP and head of group communications and marketing, Certis told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE that it wanted to showcase that diversity and inclusivity are also core to its recruitment. According to Certis, the campaign is targeted at hiring tech professionals, managers, executives and technicians.

As part of the campaign, Certis launched a short video which portrays how working at the company will be like. Fronted by a woman acting as a female employee, the video is accompanied with a female voiceover sharing why they find it rewarding to work at Certis. The minute-long video, along with cut-down versions, will be marketed across various digital and social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube, organically and through programmatic ad buys, Goh said. He added that the video will also be strongly featured on Certis' digital assets, primarily on its website, recruitment portals and its social media channels. Certis has declined to disclose the monetary value of the campaign.

Goh said, "Our inspiration behind this creative is to showcase Certis as a dynamic technology company...Needless to say, the video is also a humble brag in the form of our technological solutions such as robots make positive impact in the community during the pandemic and beyond."

The campaign, which will run until the end of July, aims to attract more tech individuals to design and create Certis’ next generation of technological offerings. "We want to attract more tech talent to design and create Certis’ next generation of technological offerings – from operations-tech to enterprise software for our customers. To this end, our growing suite of innovative enterprise ops-tech solutions and products across our large global customer footprint means that our tech workforce must grow in tandem – to fulfil our purpose to secure a safer, smarter, better future for generations ahead," Goh said

Additionally, Certis has also focused on tech upskilling for its frontline team members. According to Certis, about 87% of its 11,000 frontliners in Singapore had completed at least one digital and technology programme in the past year. Additionally, 77% of its global tech workforce have upgraded their skills in data analytics, ops-tech and development, enterprise systems and project management. To instil tech-savviness across its business, Certis has also extended tech development courses to its employees in non-tech roles.

Separately, Certis appointed Goh in February, as part of the company's efforts to strengthen its ambition as a growing tech-led security services organisation. In his new role, Goh is currently responsible for developing and implementing communications and marketing strategies aligned Certis' business goals, including oversight of all strategic communications with external and internal stakeholders, amplifying its purpose, brand and solutions across multiple channels, Certis said then.
