Carro names HK artist Moses Chan as celebrity ambassador

Carro, Asia Pacific’s online automotive platform, has appointed Hong Kong artist Moses Chan as its latest celebrity ambassador. 

A beloved figure in Chinese television and film, Chan has appeared in over 60 television series and films, and remains a trusted voice for leading brands and consumers in China, Singapore, Malaysia and beyond, according to the release.

From winning popularity awards for his iconic characters to taking on difficult roles, Chan has proven how hard work and trustworthiness pays off, as he continues to expand his range and influence as a celebrity.   

Chan reflects Carro’s spirit with his enduring popularity, legacy, and confidence, according to Carro Hong Kong CEO Garry Yu. "He is a trusted figure in Hong Kong and is well-loved by the public and brands - both at home and abroad. This is a reflection of his unyielding popularity even after 25 years in showbiz, We are so delighted to welcome him onboard to the Carro family and are looking forward to achieving new milestones together.”    

As part of the partnership, Chan will make his inaugural appearance as Carro’s celebrity ambassador in the form of a 15-second ad with Carro’s mascot ‘Car Lou’ , whose moniker is a wordplay on the company’s name, highlighting the brand’s car buying and selling capabilities in a catchy jingle. 

The ad campaign also includes ‘ding ding’ tram ads featuring Chan which will run across Hong Kong Island until 25 October. The brand film is available on Carro’s YouTube and social media platforms on 3 October.
