Carousell has launched a new subscription service for merchants to help boost their sales and increase exposure.
The launch of Carousell for Business (Caroubiz) provides a suite of premium seller tools for merchants. By subscribing to CarouBiz, merchants will have access to a new suite of six functions. These include video listings, custom collections, profile cover photo uploading, premium seller badges, a bump scheduler, and profile promotion tools to increase traffic, credibility, and to improve branding.
"We believe local retailers should be equipped with more tools to help navigate the complexity of e-commerce so they can just focus on their core businesses. With CarouBiz, merchants are able to better showcase their offerings in front of more buyers to address their needs, thus increasing sales," said William Ip, managing director of Carousell Hong Kong.
Currently, Carousell has over 24 million listings in Hong Kong with a diverse range of products across more than 30 categories, including cars, properties, lifestyle, gadgets, and fashion accessories. Enjoying a huge fan base, in 2019 the platform's transaction volume increased by nearly 32% YoY in Hong Kong.
