Carlsberg has moved its local PR account from Sixth Sense Communications & PR Consultancy to GolinHarris.
The appointment was made earlier this year following a review which saw two agencies in the pitch, a Carlsberg spokesperson told Marketing.
The contract is for a year and the agency will be tasked to handle PR for all core Carlsberg brands and also for the special brews and new brands in the future.
The agency will liaise with external media and handle internal communications through means such as company newsletters.
GolinHarris will also aid Carlsberg in aspects such as corporate responsibility.
In November last year, Carlsberg also called a creative pitch involving five agencies including the incumbent Havas Worldwide. The pitch, which is not settled yet, is for the Carlsberg brand in Malaysia and Singapore.
The beer brand also appointed Bernard Yeo, previously marketing and sales director at Bacardi-Martini Singapore as head of marketing at Carlsberg Singapore.
