Canon appoints Hakuhodo for EOS

Regional - Canon has extended its partnership with Hakuhodo Communications Asia, awarding creative duties for its EOS range for its emerging markets.The appointment followed an open pitch, a Hakuhodo spokesperson told Marketing, declining to reveal the other agencies in the pitch.Hakuhodo already holds duties for Canon's Pixma and Legria range for the ASEAN region. It won Pixma duties last year while it has held Legria's since 2008.Hakuhodo's remit covers Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Pakistan and Bangladesh.The first campaign under the new appointment will roll out in May.Hakuhodo Communications Asia is a fully owned subsidiary of Hakuhodo Inc. Japan.
