C27 makes a slew of appointments

Digital marketing firm C27 has made some key new hires to bolster its digital strategic capabilities, as well as placing a foothold in the Australian market.

This comes in the wake of a rebrand from Company27, to  “C27”.

The newest addition to the C27 management team is Isa Ghani in the role of director of strategy. Ghani brings a depth and breadth of experience in managing global, regional and hyperlocal digital projects for clients like Lenovo, IBM and Levi’s. His background in PR, journalism and branding will aid his current function as strategic lead for C27, with a concentration on content.

Isa’s task is to expand upon C27’s current offerings for both corporate clients and startups, moving the company up the industry value chain, solidifying its new direction as a Brand Innovation Company.

Expanding the presence in Australia, C27 has hired Susan Lee as general manager of Australia. A Google certified digital marketer, Susan has been responsible for pioneering digital marketing functions of regional players such as Zalora, Pestle & Mortar and Buro 24/7.

Also joining as part of the management team, Lee has been tasked to build C27 Australia’s portfolio.

Also joining the team is Tan You Ting, as a business intelligence strategist. Formerly of AllOfUs (London), Hypebeast (Hong Kong) and Ctrl+Shift (Malaysia), You Ting is a former media trader with global experience spanning cutting-edge creative tech and street culture.

“Isa is a perfect fit to C27’s management team, and with his background in digital content - there’s no doubt that he’ll help propel us to greater heights. Susan has been instrumental in building some of the leading digital brands of today, be it local retail heroes Pestle & Mortar or regional fashion players Zalora. A cerebral, data-driven analyst, with a strong creative background - You Ting is both creative thinker and logical decision maker, and fits just perfectly into our inter-disciplinary team,” Fazil Fuad (pictured), managing director of C27, said.
