Burson’s Greater China CEO Claire Li (pictured) has stepped down from her role, as confirmed to MARKETING-INTERACTIVE.

In an exclusive statement seen by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, a spokesperson from Burson said, “I can confirm that Li is no longer with Burson. We thank her for her contributions to the organisation and we wish her the best for the future.”

Li was appointed as Greater China CEO back in June as part of Burson’s APAC expansion. Prior to Burson, she was the Greater China CEO at Hill & Knowlton, which was later merged with BCW to form Burson.

Before that, she had also helmed the role of vice president of communications at Starbucks China and VP of communications and public affairs at Ford Motor China.

As part of the leadership changes of Burson back in June, Rikki Jones was appointed as the CEO of Burson Group Singapore and the president of GCI Health Asia-Pacific, a global healthcare communications agency under BCW.

Jones has worked at GCI Health for over 10 years, previously serving in roles such as CEO of BCW Group Singapore and president of GCI Health APAC.

Furthermore, Burson has appointed Cindy Lim as the CEO of Burson Singapore. Lim has been with BCW Global for over three years, most recently serving as the CEO and market leader for Singapore.

Prior to that, she held roles such as managing director and market leader for Singapore, as well as senior director of integrated communications for APAC, where she shaped marketing and communications strategies for clients such as AliExpress and Huami.
