Burberry taps Aegis to drive global media

Burberry has appointed the Aegis Media to handle its global media business, taking over from UM.The appointment is for full-service media planning and buying and digital performance media, began on 1 April 2013.Aegis, now part of the Dentsu group, has created a tailored service solution for Burberry.The Aegis Burberry Media Network will be centrally coordinated out of Vizeum offices in London, UK. The brand will also partner with regional teams from Carat, Posterscope, Isobar and Iprospect.UM, which had been working on the business for three years, declined to participate in the review.
